Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated in a weird corner of the room with very low water pressure, but the rooms are spacious enough for two people and comfortable with A/C, a real relief during the humid weather in Kathmandu. The service is friendly and professional but lacking in number. The location is perfect with a quiet park-like setting yet close to small shops and just a short walk to Thamel. The dining was decent, providing sufficient meal options. Overall, a nice and cozy stay for the price.
I loved the hotel's location just outside the hustle and bustle of Thamel but close enough to enjoy all the restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was generally helpful, though at times a bit indifferent. The dining options were good with a nice selection of Western and Nepali dishes, but the breakfast could be improved. The hotel facilities were decent and provided a nice stay overall.
The hotel is full of Newar culture, attics, and antics, giving it a unique charm. While the rooms were barely adequate and a bit noisy, the overall experience was enjoyable. The service, amidst an earthquake, was super helpful, friendly, and provided professional assistance in a personalized manner.
The hotel had some pleasant aspects, like comfortable rooms with nice wood carvings and good furniture, and the location was great for a relaxing stay. However, the lack of hot water in the rooms was a downside, and the dining experience was not up to par with limited options available.
